REMA was retained by Real Food Company (RFC), to serve as Senior Vice President, Acting Chief Operating Officer (COO), work included: conducted a comprehensive review of the operations of the two San Francisco store locations that identified and corrected operating problems to increase profits; developed and implemented a strategic operating and marketing plan to take over and open a third store in southern California and integrate its operations into RFC corporate; supervise company staff and investigate alternatives to reduce RFC corporate general & administrative overhead costs.
OPERATIONS

- The initial design of: Perpetual Product Inventory System, three (3) store locations;
- Upgrade policies & procedures: Product ordering; Inventory Receiving Procedures
- Assessment & update of Sales Management System (SMS)
- Reconfiguration of RFC organization at stores, including staffing and incentives
- Review and Upgrade of the Point of Sale (POS) System
